Marilyn Ostrom
has had many years experience teaching young children in the Seattle
area. She has an Early Childhood Education degree from North Seattle
Community College and a B.A. in Sociology from the University of
Washington. |

Ruth Bachrach
also has many years of teaching experience at the preschool and
elementary levels. Before co-founding the 55th Street School, Ruth
taught Kindergarten at the Bush School for six years. She has a B.S.
degree in Science and Art from Portland State University and Elementary
Teaching Certificates from the states of Washington and Oregon. |

Judy Scheerer
has an Associate of Arts degree in Early Childhood Education from
Bellevue Community College. She has worked with preschool children at
several schools in the area and has been with the 55th Street School
since 1990. |

Judy Williams
has a Bachelor of Arts degree from Washington State University. She has
worked in childcare for several years and has run her own licensed
preschool/daycare. Judy has been with the 55th Street School since 1999. |

Abbie Minden
has an Associates degree from North Seattle Community College and is
currently working toward her Early Childhood degree. She has been the
nanny for many alumni of the 55th Street School since 1997. We feel
very lucky that she is back with us since 2002. |

Helen Landalf
has been teaching Creative Dance to children since 1986. She is the
author of five books for teachers on using movement and drama in the
classroom, as well as two children's picture books. When she's not
dancing, Helen works as a freelance editor and a Certified Pilates
Instructor. |
